Clinical Laboratory Regulation and Data Security Core

AMP published a collection of papers in 2025 outlining essential bioinformatics roles, responsibilities and competencies for professionals in clinical molecular diagnostic laboratories. The collection, titled “Clinical Bioinformatician Body of Knowledge: A Report of the Association for Molecular Pathology,” is freely available in The Journal of Molecular Diagnostics. The steering committee for the project has now launched a series of broadcasts about their findings and conclusions reported in the collection.

The broadcast will focus on the paper "Clinical Laboratory Regulation and Data Security," which describes relevant laboratory regulations and data security in the domains of hardware, software, networks and interoperability.
