Summary

November 4, 2026

Tumor organoid systems have rapidly emerged as powerful, human-relevant models for studying cancer initiation, progression, intratumoral heterogeneity, and therapeutic response. This FASEB Catalyst Conference will bring together leaders who are developing and applying cancer organoid technologies across diverse tissue and disease contexts and discuss conceptual advances, technical innovations, and emerging biological insights. The presentations will emphasize mechanistic cancer biology, lineage plasticity, single-cell and spatial approaches, and translational applications of organoid models to foster cross-disciplinary dialogue and catalyze new collaborations.
