Inaugural FASEB DataWorks! Salon Explores Data Sharing Within Research Teams

On October 7, FASEB will host its inaugural DataWorks! Salon, “Team Spirit: Help Your Research Team Find Data Nirvana.” Part of the recently launched DataWorks! initiative, the salon will highlight FASEB’s partnership with Openscapes, an organization that helps scientists find the value of working collaboratively in teams and adopt data-sharing tools and strategies to foster data sharing.

Participants in the interactive 90-minute salon will explore strategies to instill data-sharing practices within their research teams, including opportunities and incentives as well as challenges and potential barriers. The discussion will inform another component of FASEB DataWorks!—the DataWorks! Fellows program—a pilot of which is set to launch in January 2022.
