FASEB Comments on Extension of STEM OPT Training Plan Collection

On May 16, FASEB submitted comments in response to the United States (U.S.) Department of Homeland Security’s Information Collection Request to extend the current requirement for collecting training plans from STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) students.

In its comments, FASEB expressed support for the proposed extension, emphasizing the importance of STEM OPT in attracting and retaining highly skilled international students who contribute significantly to U.S. economic growth, innovation, and global leadership in science and technology.
