Conference Summary
Immune signaling pathways control a wide range of biological processes, including pathogen recognition, lymphocyte activation and differentiation, trafficking and effector function, tissue homeostasis and organ building, and wound healing. Dysregulation of these processes is a key factor in the initiation and progression of many clinically relevant pathologies, including autoimmune and chronic inflammatory disease, metabolic disorders, transplant rejection, immunodeficiencies, and cancer.
This conference will focus on the most recent advances in immune system signal transduction by fostering collaborative interactions that may lead to the development of new therapeutics to treat immunological disorders. Participants will share and discuss new advances in receptor triggering, kinase cascades, feedback regulation, mechanobiology, and metabolism while exploring the interplay among these processes.
In addition to providing a venue for interaction among basic scientists, the conference will include sessions focused on disease diagnosis, immunotherapy, and synthesizing basic discoveries.
Attendees will learn about:
- The signaling pathways that control innate and adaptive immune function
- Mechanisms regulating healthy signaling and tissue homeostasis
- How dysregulation of these mechanisms leads to disease

Workshops:
Lunchtime Meet the Experts sessions will offer trainees the chance to discuss their areas of interest and posters directly with established speakers.
Two interactive Career Development Workshops will address issues including Networking in Academia and Industry, Science in the Age of AI, or Science Policy and Communication.
