Reproductive/germline genes (also known as cancer testes antigens) are proteins typically only required for reproduction and are expressed exclusively in testicular and ovarian cancers. Recent studies indicate that these abnormally expressed proteins are important for critical tumorigenic behaviors and their inhibition reduces tumor survival.
Join FASEB and expert researchers to explore this nascent but exploding field of research. This will be the first time researchers from across the globe can come together to share findings and identify new avenues of research.
This online, half-day conference will have up to 10 short talks from across 30 laboratories worldwide.
Organizer: Angelique Whitehurst, PhD, Associate Professor, UT-Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX
