FASEB advances health and well-being by promoting research and education in the biological and biomedical sciences. The Science Research Conferences (SRC) program provides a well-known opportunity that allows researchers to share their science with colleagues and peers. Organizer submissions are now being accepted for 2025 SRCs. Applications are welcome from principal investigators and early-career researchers to organize scientific meetings so that they and their colleagues can present their new work and receive critical feedback to develop, explain, and refine their research for formal review.

FASEB SRCs are small four-to-five-day, in-person conferences focused on established research topics in the life sciences. Topics featured at the 2023 and 2024 meetings can be viewed here. Featuring a mix of scientific lectures, posters, meet the expert sessions, and career development workshops, SRCs also provide a unique opportunity for trainees (graduate students, postdocs, etc.) and early-career researchers to get one-on-one interaction and networking with established scientists in formal as well as informal settings. SRCs take place throughout the year, with attendance ranging from 100 to 200 people. FASEB’s expert SRC support team will lead organizers through the conference planning process, manage the operations and logistics of the meeting, provide sponsorship/grants assistance, and augment organizers’ promotional efforts.

Applications for 2025 SRCs are due by September 28, 2023, and can be submitted online. Additional information, including application instructions, organizer expectations, and a Quick Start Guide, is also available. Want to learn more? Contact FASEB about organizing an SRC.
