FASEB Supports Proposed Changes to NSF’s PAPPG
By: Yvette SegerWednesday, June 22, 2022
On June 13, FASEB issued comments supporting proposed updates to the National Science Foundation’s (NSF’s) Proposal and Award Policies and Procedures Guide (PAPPG). The majority of the edits address U.S. government-wide policies, such as the implementation of the National Security Presidential Memorandum 33, and changes in NSF organization and processes, such as the addition of the Directorate for Technology, Innovation, and Partnerships and the agency’s transition from FastLane to research.gov for managing grant application and awards.
FASEB also applauded updates intended to align NSF policies and procedures with those of other research funding agencies. NSF anticipates implementing the updated PAPPG in January 2023.
