On October 18, researchers are invited to learn about metadata in biomedical research as part of the ongoing DataWorks! Salon series. Metadata, the information describing the data that is collected as part of scientific research, is a critical component of data management and sharing.

For the October DataWorks! Salon, Arjun Krishnan, PhD, Visiting Associate Professor of Biomedical Informatics at the University of Colorado, will share his award-winning work related to resolving metadata barriers for data harmonization and Mark Musen, PhD, Professor of Biomedical Informatics at Stanford University, will share metadata best practices and standards to support FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) research.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn and be in community with researchers as we address some of the most important topics in research data management and sharing.
