FASEB Webinar - Excellence in Science Awards: Opportunity and Eligibility for 2021

FASEB will be holding a webinar on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 11:00 AM -12:00 PM to discuss the Excellence in Science Awards. Every year since 1989, the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) has recognized outstanding achievements by women in biological science through the Excellence in Science Award. Last year, FASEB expanded the Excellence in Science Award Program to include two additional awards recognizing the achievements of mid-career and early career women scientists. This webinar will review the eligibility requirements, application process, deadlines for the 2021 awards, accepting nominations until March 1, 2020. The presentation will also address frequently asked questions regarding the nomination requirements, online submission, and review process. Presenters include Mary-Ann Bjornsti, PhD, Chair, FASEB Excellence in Science Committee, Chair, and Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology and Newman H.
