FASEB Urges Congress to Pass Final 2021 Budgets for NIH, NSF, Other Agencies

FASEB sent a letter to House and Senate leaders and the Appropriations Committees urging Congress to pass a fiscal year 2021 omnibus appropriations bill that includes funding increases for the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), and other agencies. Current federal funding expires on December 11th. The letter also encouraged legislators to provide emergency supplemental funding for NIH and NSF to address research disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
