FASEB Submits Comments to OLAW RFI on Guide Departures

On October 5, FASEB submitted comments to the NIH Office of Laboratory Animal Welfare (OLAW) in response to a Request for Information (NOT-OD-21-161) regarding reporting requirements on departures from the Guide. To alleviate the administrative burden on Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee administrators and institutional offices, FASEB's response emphasizes the importance of eliminating reporting requirements for Guide "should" statements.
