FASEB Response to NIH Data Science RFI

On December 10, FASEB submitted comments in response to a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) seeking input on proposed provisions for a draft data management and sharing policy for research funded by the agency. FASEB's comments highlighted concerns related to the definition of scientific data and the breadth of the proposed requirements for data management and sharing plans, and recommended a phased implementation of a new data management and sharing policy to ensure community preparedness for new or expanded requirements.
