FASEB Responds to DHS NPRM on Modernizing H-1B Visa Requirements

On December 7, FASEB submitted comments in response to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (NPRM) concerning updates to modernize the H-1B Specialty Occupation Worker Program.

In its comments, FASEB concurs with many of the language and guidance clarifications included in the proposed revisions. Additionally, FASEB commends DHS for streamlining eligibility requirements and providing greater benefits and flexibility for employers and workers. FASEB also suggested changes, including providing additional guidance regarding DHS' rule on conducting site visits.
