FASEB Letter to Congress Expresses Support for Bipartisan Innovation Act

FASEB sent a letter to congressional leaders expressing support for provisions that should be included in the Bipartisan Innovation Act. A conference committee is currently negotiating a final legislative package. FASEB’s letter advocated for increased funding for NSF and the Department of Energy Office of Science. FASEB encouraged conferees to remove provisions that would restrict support for federally funded research projects on the gain of function research.
