FASEB Joins National Organizations in Urging Federal Agencies to Balance Security Concerns with Impact on Scientific Collaborations

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) joined 59 scientific and engineering professional societies on a letter to the heads of five federal agencies urging them to seek input from stakeholders as they revisit policies regarding foreign nationals who collaborate with U.S. scientific and academic institutions.The letter notes the importance of safeguarding research while ensuring that the U.S. remains a desirable and welcoming destination for researchers from around the world.
