FASEB Comments on Enhancing Diversity and Inclusion in the Cancer Research Workforce

On July 8, FASEB submitted comments in response to a Request for Information issued by the National
Cancer Institute regarding how to enhance diversity and inclusion in the cancer research workforce. In
its response, FASEB reiterated prior comments highlighting common obstacles to retaining a diverse
workforce and existing initiatives offered by scientific societies to remove these barriers.
