FASEB Comments on Barriers and Burdens to U.S. Immigration Services

On May 14, FASEB submitted comments in response to a Request for Information issued by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) regarding ways to reduce administrative burdens and other barriers preventing foreign citizens from easily obtaining access to immigration services and benefits in the U.S. In its response, FASEB reiterated concerns about a September 2020 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking that would implement fixed, four-year terms for F and J visas and recommended that the proposal be rescinded.
