FASEB Comments in Response to Next Generation Researchers Initiative Update

On March 13, FASEB submitted comments on the Next Generation Researchers Initiative Update presented to the to the Advisory Committee to the Director of the National Institutes of Health during its December 2019 meeting.In its comments, FASEB expressed support for the Stephan I. Katz Award for early stage investigators, which bans preliminary data submission and will help foster independent careers. Additionally, FASEB’s comments emphasize areas where further clarification on implementation are needed.
