2023 Abstracts and Posters

Want to share cutting-edge research findings with colleagues? Consider submitting an abstract for a short talk or an in-person poster/e-poster.

How to Submit

When completing registration for the conference, registrants are welcome to submit an abstract. The registration completion page, as well as the registration confirmation email sent to registrants, contains a link to upload abstracts.

Abstract Tips

Abstracts must be in English and limited to 5,000 characters.

•    List the presenting author first on the abstract.

•    Presenting authors (who may be a substitute for the primary author) must be registered to attend.

•    Refer to the abstract confirmation email for how to access and edit an abstract after submission.

•    Abstract submission is optional for attendees, but it is required for invited speakers and session chairs who are speaking.

Abstracts for Short Talks

All submitted abstracts are considered for a short talk unless the submitter has indicated that he/she only wants to present a poster during registration. Conference organizers review and select the abstracts. If an abstract is selected, the submitter will receive an email notification approximately three weeks before the conference. If selected for a short talk, the submitter will present an in-person poster and an e-poster. If organizers decide this is not the case, submitters will receive a notification prior to the conference.

Abstracts for In-Person Posters/e-Posters

In-person poster presentations and e-posters are interactive ways to engage with colleagues and present research. If a participant submitted an abstract, he/she is automatically eligible to present. Poster presenters will upload an e-poster in the conference app (accessible only by registered conference attendees, in-person or remote) to augment their in-person presentation.

For in-person poster presentations: poster size instructions will be provided prior to the conference via email. To upload an e-posters, one week prior to the conference, submitters will receive an email with log-in information for the conference app.

Declined Abstracts

Please note that conference organizers reserve the right to decline any submitted abstract that lacks scientific content or merit, or merely announces the availability of a resource or service. It is inappropriate to submit an abstract with obvious commercial intent.
