Measurements of Success
Over the past 15 years, FASEB MARC Program has used external evaluation to ensure that all programs contribute to the growth and development of underrepresented undergraduate and graduate students, post doctoral fellows and junior faculty members. The program has used evaluation data to fine-tune and update programs to make sure they provide the support necessary to help students choose careers in biomedical research and prepare them to be successful in such careers. Support has also been provided to faculty, students and postdoctoral fellows at minority-serving institutions.
