In the title of the function, the use of the words “session,” “symposium,” and “workshop” are not
permitted. The title will be listed in the program exactly as you submit it on the form. Speakers at the
function may be listed.
In order to be listed in the program, requests must be received by
reviewed and approved at the January meeting of the Management Committee. Signs and notices
advertising your event on official bulletin boards on-site at the Convention Center are to be no larger
than 8 1/2" x 11". They must also meet the specifications of, and be approved by, the Director of the
Office of Scientific Meetings and Conferences. Sign easels will not be provided. The session chairperson will be requested not to announce ancillary functions unless the announcement has been approved by the Management Committee or by the Society responsible for the session.
