   The courtship avoidance paradigm is one of the common associative learning paradigms. It has been assumed that the US is provided by a pheromone produced by the mated female. Questions remain as to what the true identity of the US is in this paradigm. We attempted to systematically resolve the identity of the US in courtship avoidance.
