Information for Society Scientists

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) advances biological sciences through collaborative advocacy for research policies that promote scientific progress and education and lead to improvements in human health. The strength of FASEB comes from the Member Societies and the individuals who belong to these organizations. In Washington, FASEB is the voice of scientists in biology and is the primary liaison between the biomedical research community and the federal government.

As a member of a FASEB Society, you, along with tens of thousands of other scientists, benefit from FASEB’s activities in Washington. FASEB keeps Congress and the public informed on issues impacting biomedical research, including federal science funding, the importance of animal research, stem cell policies, and training and career opportunities for scientists.

In addition to working for you on Capitol Hill, FASEB also provides the individual benefits and the services below to all FASEB Society Members. To download a brochure, click here.
