ASHG/FASEB Virtual Career Fair 2007

The ASHG/FASEB Virtual Career Fair will operate between September 24-October 26, 2007, and will be available on the Internet at http://careers.faseb.org.

In addition to online services, we will hold a reception in the San Diego Convention Center to facilitate an informal meeting between job seekers and employers, and introduce attendees to the onsite and extended services provided by FASEB.

The "Meet 'n Greet" will be held on Wednesday evening, October 24, between 6:30-8:00 PM in Hall D Registration Lobby of the convention center.

Additional career services, including Internet-accessible laptop computers, will be available in the Hall D Registration Lobby on Wednesday and Thursday, October 24th and 25th, at 10:30 AM until 6:30 PM; and on Friday, October 26th from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. The ASHG/FASEB Virtual Career Fair 2007 site will also be available 24-hours a day via the Internet at http://careers.faseb.org.

  • NEW THIS YEAR!! Employers will have two options to post positions online:
    • Beginning on September 24, 2007, employers may pay a $200 career center registration fee and post an unlimited number of employment opportunities online. In addition, paid employers will also be able to search candidate resume profiles; send/receive electronic messages; and request/schedule interviews. (NOTE: Position listings will remain active online for a period of 45 days beginning with the posting date.)
    • Beginning October 15, 2007, employers who only wish to display their employment opportunities during the week of the meeting may post their employment opportunities "free of charge" by selecting the "Free 4-day Posting Only" option located on the ASHG/FASEB Virtual Career Fair 2007 site. Please note, the employment opportunities posted online using the "Free 4-day Posting Only "option will be visible online between October 24-27, 2007 only.
       
  • Attend the ASHG “Meet ‘n Greet” to network with potential employers and candidates (6:30-8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 24, 2007, Hall D Registration Lobby/Convention Center)
