The Undergraduate Affiliates Network offers undergraduates and undergraduate faculty an opportunity to connect with their future by providing a variety of regional and national networking opportunities including seminar and research opportunities, Enzymatic, Travel Awards [for students and faculty] to attend the ASBMB Annual Meeting and participation in the Undergraduate Poster Competition. Affiliated programs may organize local chapters of the ASBMB National Honor Society, ΧΩΛ, and students can be nominated for election to the International Chapter of ΧΩΛ.

The Undergraduate Affiliate Network (UAN) aims to form scientific and educational communities across the world to help academic institutions develop the best possible undergraduate curricula and to provide more research and learning opportunities for students by pooling their resources and working together. The UAN is divided into six geographical regions (click map regions below), each of which will have a regional director(s) and dedicated website.
