Postdoctoral and Professional Development & Enrichment Award

Sponsored by the National Institute of General Medical Sciences and National Institutes of Health and given by FASEB’s Marc Program, this award recognizes highly promising postdoctoral scientists who have demonstrated research productivity. This includes having published first-author papers in scientific publications, mentoring URM undergraduate and graduate students, and leading the improvement and expansion of opportunities in the scientific workforce and academia.  A total of six individuals are recognized each year for their contributions and are selected from an extremely accomplished applicant pool of dedicated scientists.
