Advocacy
FASEB is the organization that legislators, federal agencies, and the media turn to for information on policies related to biomedical science and engineering. At FASEB, policy development begins with the working scientists representing our member societies and reflects the views of a broad cross-section of the research community. Our full-time presence in Washington allows us to monitor the latest legislative and regulatory developments, news, and events affecting scientists, and our staff provide analytic, communications, and technical support for our initiatives. This combination of volunteer action and staff professionalism ensures that our advocacy efforts are designed for maximum effectiveness.  To view some of our recent accomplishments, click here.

Services
FASEB provides a variety of logistic and management services to member societies and other non-profit organizations. These include (but are not limited to) full society management, meeting management, accounting, and publication services. Through these various disciplines, FASEB capitalizes on synergies and helps societies to work more efficiently as a group, rather than as individual units. 	Publications Each month FASEB publishes The FASEB Journal, a collection of multi-disciplinary articles submitted from scientists located around the world. 	Minority Access to Research Careers Program FASEB is committed to serving minority scientists through the MARC Program which aims to increase the number of biomedical and behavioral scientists from minority groups.
