New Open Access Journal, FASEB BioAdvances, Accepting Author Submissions
FASEB BioAdvances, a new peer-reviewed, open access journal, is accepting author submissions as of June 4, 2018. A partnership of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) and John Wiley and Sons Inc., FASEB BioAdvances will be edited by Jasna Markovac, PhD. Dr. Markovac has an academic appointment at California Institute of Technology and will serve as the publication’s Founding Editor, publishing multi/transdisciplinary research from the international community.
“I am very happy to announce that FASEB BioAdvances is ready to accept submissions,” said Dr. Markovac. “We have assembled a top-notch editorial team reflecting FASEB’s member societies, and would be pleased to consider papers in all aspects of biology, from basic science to translational research to biomedicine. I encourage researchers to consider this new journal for the publication of their work.”
FASEB BioAdvances is an international open-access journal publishing original, multi- and interdisciplinary life science and biomedical research. Published articles are complete reports judged to be of proper design and execution. In addition to reports of new findings, the journal considers articles with confirmatory results.
“The input of FASEB’s member societies and their representation on the editorial board will be a key component of this new journal’s success,” said FASEB President Thomas O. Baldwin, PhD. “The diversity of bioscience that our members represent will be reflected in the studies that FASEB BioAdvances publishes, and I’m thrilled about this new outlet for the biological sciences.”
