FASEB Releases Resource on Federal Instrumentation Programs

March 24, 2016
Investigators require access to advanced scientific equipment to conduct cutting-edge research. To help scientists identify ways to access necessary instruments that are beyond the budget of a typical research grant, FASEB developed “Instrumentation: Federal Grants and Programs for the Life Sciences.” This document provides summary information about federal agency support for apparatus acquisition, access, and development. Many of these grants and programs focus on multi-user configurations to broaden equipment utilization and extend the value of research funding.
