Martin Rosario is a licensed Physical Therapist since July of 2006. He received his Physical Therapy Masters degree diploma from the University of Puerto Rico, School of Health Professions. Since 2006, he has provided professional Outpatient Physiotherapy Services through the Home Care Service Program. His clinical experience focused on the prevention, evaluation, and treatment of physical dysfunction resulting from disease, disability, or injury. He was also involved in the education and treatment for elderly people to improve their quality of life through exercise. Moreover, he gained professional experience in the hospital setting, where he worked as the supervisor of the Department of Sports Medicine & Physical Therapy from December 2006 to November 2007. During that time, he also served as a consultant to the clinical staff regarding physical therapy services after surgery.

Martin is currently a fourth year PhD student in the Department of Anatomy and Neurobiology at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus. His PhD project is focused on the impairments and characteristics of human lower limb locomotion in persons with diabetes mellitus type II and peripheral neuropathy.

 When you were little, who was your favorite super hero and why?  Superman; because he was the man of steel and he also can fly.
 What’s your favorite thing to do in the summer?
 Go to the beach.
 What are your favorite hobbies?
 Play basketball.  Play European handball.  Watch movies.
 What is important to you in your life right now?
Family, friends, my job/PhD career.
 Have you ever won a contest or a trophy?
 Yes. I won a trophy playing basketball --  most valuable player and best scorer.

 My middle name.

 If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?


 What thought or message would you want to put in a fortune cookie? 
 Be the best; never give up or give in!

  If you won a lottery ticket and had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
 I would put them in the bank and with the interest that would make, I would buy a house for my mom, brothers and uncle; then I would pay for my brother's and sister's college tuitions; then travel the world with them!! I woul make a foundation so I can help and work with kids who have nothing.
 If you could play any musical instrument, what would it be and why?  If you already play an instrument(s), what do you play and why?
 Piano, it’s so beautiful and deep!!
