MARC Travel Awards Announced for FASEB Grant Writing & Practical Exercises Workshop


MARC TRAVEL AWARDS ANNOUNCED FOR FASEB GRANT WRITING & PRACTICAL EXERCISES WORKSHOP

Bethesda, MD – FASEB MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) Program has announced the travel award recipients for the FASEB Grant Writing Seminar & Practical Exercises Workshop which will be held on the FASEB campus located in Bethesda, Maryland from August 25-26, 2014.  These awards are meant to help support the participation of postdoctorates and research scientists from underrepresented groups in the the FASEB Grant Writing Seminar & Practical Exercises Workshop.  This year MARC conferred 10 awards totaling $18,500.

The FASEB MARC Program is funded by a grant from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences, National Institutes of Health. A primary goal of the MARC Program is to increase the number and competitiveness of students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty scientists from underrepresented groups engaged in biomedical and behavioral research.

The following participants have been selected to receive a FASEB MARC Travel Award:
