Bethesda, MD - Jennifer Zeitzer, Director of the Office of Legislative Relations at the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB), has been named Deputy Director of the Office of Public Affairs. “The new title and expanded responsibilities reflect her outstanding contributions to the Federation and the larger role she plays in charting our overall policy strategy,” noted Howard Garrison, Director of the Office of Public Affairs. “Through her hard work and insightful analyses, she has earned the respect of our members and has taken a leading role in building strong coalitions in support of biomedical research. She has been a valued and trusted legislative advisor, and I look forward to continuing to work with her in a broader range of endeavors.” Guy Fogleman, FASEB Executive Director, stated that, “We expect that her contributions to our senior leadership will strengthen our relationships with member societies and other groups in the research community.”

FASEB is composed of 27 societies with more than 125,000 members, making it the largest coalition of biomedical research associations in the United States. Our mission is to advance health and welfare by promoting progress and education in biological and biomedical sciences through service to our member societies and collaborative advocacy.
