Cecelia C. Yates-Binder is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Yates-Binder conducts research in the field of dermatopathology and the emerging fields of stem cell biology and regenerative medicine/tissue engineering. Currently, she is using cell transplantation technology to correct excessive scarring. She earned her doctorate in Integrative Science and Pathology from Tuskegee University, Tuskegee, AL, in conjunction with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She has been recognized by the Experimental Pathologist in Graduate Training award, European Tissue Repair Young Investigator award, and was named as the ASIP Excellence in Science awardee for 2011, as well as other training and travel awards from FASEB, ASIP, and the Wound Healing Society. Dr. Yates-Binder is a member of the American Society for Investigative Pathology, Wound Healing Society, The Endocrine Society and Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society. She serves on several national committees and is a reviewer for Wound Repair and Regeneration and Acta Dermato-Venereologica. Dr. Yates-Binder has basic research publications in the top ranked pathology journal, The American Journal of Pathology, and in Wound Repair and Regeneration, Circulation Research, and applied communication in Biomaterials.

Yes, it is solid black on the outside and many wild colors in the inside.
