FASEB MARC Program Staff
The FASEB Office of MARC (Maximizing Access to Research Careers) and Professional Development Programs provides administration and logistic support for the FASEB MARC Program, and management of the career services sponsored at select FASEB society meetings.
The FASEB MARC Program is a federally-funded program supported by two NIGMS/NIH grants offering ancillary activities to support the training and development of underrepresented students, postdocs and faculty pursuing higher education and careers in life sciences research.
The purpose of the MARC Program is to achieve greater participation in the biomedical and behavioral research enterprise of this country by individuals from underrepresented groups. A key objective of the FASEB MARC Program is to provide access to programs and resources designed to help develop and prepare underrepresented students in the pursuit of graduate training leading to the Ph.D. degree in the biomedical and behavioral sciences.
