Since 1996, FASEB has continued to sponsor a series of career services including one-on-one résumé/CV critiques, professional development and skills training seminars/workshops designed to meet the evolving needs of students, research scientists, postdoctoral fellows, faculty members and other professionals in science. The goal of the career development activities is to provide information about specialized topics as well as essential skill developing training required for career advancement. These career services and career development seminars /workshops are offered at the Experimental Biology (EB) meeting as part of the EB/FASEB Career Center.  Additionally, FASEB-sponsored/managed career services including one-on-one résumé/CV critiques and career counseling are offered at the ABRF, ASHG and other designated scientific meetings.

Career counselors/coaches for the seminars and workshops have included a wide array of career development/résumé experts, military and federal government officials, and research professionals.
