G3: Genes|Genomes|Genetics the GSA’s open-access journal launched in June 2011, publishes high-quality foundational research—the cornerstones of future insights and the building blocks of our discipline—as well as experimental resources in genetics and genomics.
G3 publishes articles that describe well-executed and lucidly interpreted genetic and genomic studies of all kinds, covering a wide breadth of biological disciplines, including microbiology, mycology, zoology, botany, and agriculture, research in established and emerging model organisms, and research in human and medical genetics.
G3 provides full access to research data as well as article-level links to genes and other objects in model organism databases. The journal emphasizes rapid peer review and fast time-to-publication.
